Rector's Administrative Assistant
Before coming to Canterbury, Holly served for ten years as the Director of the Beacon Hill Friends House, a Quaker center and residence in Boston, MA. She is an active Quaker with a love of the wider Christian and interfaith movements. After living most of her life in New England, Holly enjoys the change of landscape and culture. “I find this is a good place to listen for how God is calling me outside of the familiar grooves of life as I knew it,” Holly writes. “Transitions are such a juicy spiritual time–for individuals and for communities. It feels appropriate in this time of change in my life, to use my gifts to support Canterbury during its transition time.” Outside of her work with Canterbury, Holly works with Friends General Conference to help Quaker Meetings better welcome newcomers. She also leads workshops and retreats on community building, individual and community spiritual discernment and spiritual deepening.
